predict

In reading I am learning to predict I had to look at the pitcher and predict what was happening I use my prier knowledge and clues from the text.

Describe the scene. How does the picture make you feel?

• Answer scared
• Do you think the boy knows what lurks beneath the surface?
• Answer no
• What do you think he can see/hear?
• Water moving
• What is the crocodile’s character like?
• dangerous
• What will happen next? Continue the story.
• The crocodile will get up from the water.
• If you could jump into the picture, what would you do? Would you help
• the boy? How? I would get the fishing rod and rap the fishing rod around the crock.
